What are your session prices?
Each session is $50. Sessions are 45-50 minutes, depending on when we get to a natural stopping point in the lesson.
How many sessions do I need per week?
Ideally, a student should receive 2 or 3 sessions per week. However, I understand that every family has different availability when it comes to finances and time commitments. I am happy to work with families on a once-per-week basis.
Can parents observe the lessons?
Yes. Parents are always welcome to sit in on a lesson and observe. Parents are also welcome to work at the dining room table across the hall, stay in their cars, sit on the front patio, drop off their students, or walk the neighborhood. If you are leaving, we kindly request that you return at the 45-minute mark.
Do you help adults who want to improve their reading skills?
While I primarily focus on tutoring children, I am more than happy to help any adults with dyslexia or reading insecurities!
